Cancellation Policy

At Nawiri Safaris, we understand that travel plans can change unexpectedly. Our cancellation policy applies to all packages offered and becomes effective upon payment of the deposit and confirmation of your reservation. Please read the following terms carefully, as they outline the potential retention of funds in the event of cancellation.

Cancellation Terms:

1. Cancellations 30 Days or More Prior to Departure:

   • Should we receive a written cancellation from any member of the tour at least 30 days before the scheduled departure, 20% of the total reservation amount will be retained by Nawiri Safaris. The remaining balance will be refunded to the cancelling party.

2. Cancellations 14 to 29 Days Prior to Departure:

   • For cancellations received between 14 and 29 days prior to departure, 50% of the total package price will be retained by Nawiri Safaris.

3. Cancellations Less Than 14 Days Prior to Departure:

   • If a cancellation is made less than 14 days before the departure date, 100% of the total package price will be retained by Nawiri Safaris. Additionally, any outstanding payments will become immediately due.

4. Finding a Replacement:

   • If the cancelling party can find a suitable replacement for their reservation at least 14 days before departure, and the replacement completes a new booking form individually, no funds will be retained. However, if no replacement is found by the 14-day deadline, a 100% cancellation penalty will apply.

Rights of Nawiri Safaris:

• Nawiri Safaris and its agents reserve the right to terminate the participation of any individual on the tour at our discretion and with immediate effect, if necessary.

Refund Processing Fees:

• When processing refunds, a 3% credit card fee will be deducted from the total amount refunded to clients using Visa, AMEX, or MasterCard.
• For refunds processed via Bank Wire transfer, applicable bank charges will apply.
